FAQ
What exactly does a wedding dog attendant do?
A wedding dog attendant is different from a regular pet sitter — instead of caring for your dog at home, we provide dedicated support during the event itself. That includes transportation, keeping your dog calm, assisting with photos, and managing bathroom breaks and meal times.
What if my dog is shy or has special needs?
We accommodate anxious dogs by keeping them in quiet areas away from ceremony activity. We administer medication per your veterinarian's instructions and use a pre-event questionnaire to develop a customized care plan. We decline cases involving a history of biting or severe crowd anxiety.
What happens if there’s a medical emergency?
Sophie is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, and follows veterinary medication protocols precisely for dogs requiring anxiety medication on event day.
Do you handle multiple dogs?
A second dog can be accommodated depending on temperament compatibility. For families with three dogs, we recommend bringing on a second handler.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes — a nonrefundable $175 retainer reserves your wedding date. The remaining 50% of costs are due four weeks before the event.

Do you carry insurance and first aid certification?
We maintain event-style liability coverage and can provide certificates upon request. Staff are fully pet first aid certified.
